If You're A Bollywood Lover...

My first buzz feed type post!

All images via tumblr.

Do me a favor, please.

You talk a lot about Bollywood, and most of the time, people don't want to hear it.
thank you, tumblr

You understand that music not only comes with a melody, but with a story, too.

You always have time for a three and a half hour break, but you're always 'busy' when a friend asks you for help during that time.

Instead of "you look like a million dollars today," you prefer to here, "you look like Deepika Padukone today."

You react filmy to everything.

"Bollywood movies are in Indian, right?"

Yes. Of course. And Hollywood movies are in American.

You try to act filmy in every situation...

...but most of the time, it doesn't really work.

Your reaction when you see Hrithik Roshan in real life...

You wish you had Geet's confidence.

...and Kavya's wardrobe.

Daawat E Ishq: Movie Review

Daawat E Ishq, starring Parineeti Chopra, our personal favorite, and Aditya Roy Kapoor , is a beautiful family friendly film of a girl who wants to fulfill her dreams, even in the most risky way.

Gullu, Parineeti Chopra, is a feisty, street smart girl from Hydrabad whose dreams live in New York, where she aspires to become a famous shoe designer.

Taru, Aditya Roy Kapoor, is a city renowned chef, famous for his mouth watering food in Lucknow.

Gullu comes from a small town in Hydrabad, and she doesn't have much money to fulfill her dreams. Her father tries to marry Gullu to many families, offering fifteen lakhs of dowry. But each decline, wanting more and more. Occasionally, the groom's family would lie on the matrimonial website saying things like "fluent in english." However, Gullu almost always proves them wrong.

Fate brings Taru and Gullu together, when ironically Gullu and her father go to Lucknow with a fake VISA, and fake passport, searching for the most greedy family to 'wed' Gullu to. Their plan was to file a Dowry Harassment case, demanding money from the groom's side to fulfill her dreams...

Filled with laughter and beautiful songs, Daawat-E-Ishq is a lovable film for everyone. It was funny, cute, and sweet-- the songs just completed the mood, and it was interesting to see the north and south influences of India, and Muslim reference, come together. This movie is a must watch.
